Xiaomi announced a smart phone bellow 6000, Redmi 1S on may 2014 .which is a well build smart with a  latest hardware on a cheaper price , the chainese company Xiaomi's Redmi 1s comes with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Cortex-A7 core, which lets you get amazing performance from your battery.With Adreno 305 image processor, you can explore immersive 3D game environments or enjoy your favorite shows in flawless HD.The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. However, the plastic on the back is a bit glossy and picks up fingerprints easily.

 Xiaomi has 3 capacitive touch screen buttons on the screen. The power and volume buttons are placed at the top right corner as usual. However, its quite heavy (weighing 158 gms). It has a 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen(~312 ppi pixel density). Usually, this kind of resolution is found in 20K smartphones but now you can afford it easily. So overall, it has a premium and attractive look. the display is very good and the viewing angles are pretty descent.

It comes with a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which is really nice if you consider the price. It lasts about a day after heavy usage. So, its a plus point . in the view of storage it did a decent job by xiaomi on the internal 8 GB and can extend upto 32 GB .
on Camera It has a 8MP camera (3264 x 2448 pixels) with autofocus, LED flash It also has a 1.6 MP secondary camera. the picture quality was not very crisp or clear but it was upto the mark. It will click good photos but not as great as expected from a 8MP camera. Still, its a plus point.

With Android 4.3 Jellybean and the interface is MIUI 5.0. The interface it totally different as compared on other phones. It is smart and unique. It gives a cleaner and nice look. the icons are large and customized well. So, I think you will love the MIUI interface as its different from the rest.For multitasking, 1GB RAM is great considering the price. You can easily switch between the apps without facing slowness or lag. So, overall performance is very descent on this phone.
